High performance ear cushions ergonomically fit the head geometry, providing a better seal and increased noise attenuation. Single-point gimbal attachment allows for 360° of adjustment instead of conventional adjustment systems–auto positioning to each individual’s ear/head shape. Restores “natural hearing” with the outside environment for improved situational awareness while also providing robust hearing protection. Streamlined design also provides freedom of movement and unobstructed head range of motion. 
Rotates back to the rear of the helmet when not in use, creating a very low profile-ear cups not visible from front view when stowed. Attaches to the rear portion of Ops-Core ARC Rails leaving the top portion of the ARC Rails free for mounting lights, cameras, and other helmet components for optimal system level performance. Available with optional NFMI earplugs which offer wire-free double hearing protection capability – specify when ordering. If using ARC/Dovetail type rails, you will need a Hex key to switch out the back plate with the included adapter. They come assembled and ready to use for M-LOK type rails. 
The entire system rotates, so headsets can be rotated out of the way when not in use.
Wires can be bent to work for various headsets and to achieve different pressure against the side of the head. MSA Sordin & most Safariland Liberator models (Requires these Adapters) We have recently updated the RAK as well to feature built in wire springs to facilitate easier rotation of headsets when not in use! Along with pre-bending wires! The end result is a ballistic helmet adapter that is 80% slimmer than the next competitor. This required the use of lightweight aluminum and glass filled nylon parts to get the strength, durability, and rotation we needed from the adapters. Our goal when designing the RAK was to create a headset adapter that minimized the overall profile of the entire tactical helmet headset system.
